The use of rainwater in commercial buildings for toilet flushing, vehicle washing, plant processes and site irrigation and cleaning is increasingly being adopted to reduce the volumes of potable water consumed and to meet modern environmental and sustainability standards. Systems to capture and recycle water can also play an important part in managing and attenuating storm water run-off and help contribute to sustainable drainage schemes.
