Urban Rainwater Harvesting Systems
Halsted Rain specialise in above ground urban rainwater harvesting systems that are ideal for installing on small/medium new build homes, low occupancy property and as a retrofit solution on domestic and light commercial buildings. The rainwater collected is mostly used for toilet flushing and garden watering.
We are best known for our super slim Wall Tank System and larger capacity slim-line Tower Tank, however we now also offer large On-Ground Tanks for installation in shallow trenches or below decking, with a capacity up to 7500 litres. Individual components can also be bought separately.

On Ground Tank
This On-Ground Tank is designed to offer the best ‘whole building’ harvesting solution for larger property by providing a high capacity system that is easy to install in a shallow excavation or under decking. The tank can be installed in all ground conditions without a concrete base and the shape makes them easy to transport to and around the site. An integrated sump enables the most efficient use of the mains top up feature. This proven product incorporates the best features of urban rainwater harvesting design and is ideal for new build or retrofitting to residential and commercial property.

Slim-Line Tower Tank
The Slim-Line Tower Tank is designed to offer high capacity rainwater storage within a relatively small footprint. Multiple tanks can be joined together to achieve the desired storage capacity and a purpose designed panel is offered to conveniently position the tap at waist height for garden watering.

The Frogmouth is a slim profile multi-purpose first stage filter with a 0.9mm stainless steel mesh, designed for efficient filtering of rainwater debris and easy cleaning. It is simple to install into existing downpipes and is compatible with most rainwater tank systems. The Frogmouth has a high flow capacity and incorporates a storm water backflow outlet. It can be used in conjunction with the Lazy Lizard, a final stage filter (see insert) with a 240 microns mesh that removes fine materials such as pollen, sand and silt.
